FCPHD Staff Deliver Emergency Kits to Seniors During COVID-19 Outbreak

FCPHD Helps Seniors in Need during COVID-19 Outbreak

Because older adults are at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19, it is important to keep them safe and healthy at home. That's why, last week, staff from our agency delivered free emergency kits to Ford County seniors in need. Items in each kit included, canned goods, a bag of potatoes, apples, hot dogs, lunch meat, eggs, milk, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, paper plates, paper towels, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer. A total of 57 kits were delivered, all while practicing protective measures, including social distancing, to keep both staff and seniors safe.
